Hotel rooms in various price categories in Rome have been reserved for the 29th International Epilepsy Congress being held in the Marriott Park Hotel Rome 28 August - 1 September 2011 in Italy.
Please find underneath the relevant hotel booking information. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Individual bookings
Individual participants can book their hotel room via the 29th IEC website or by sending a completed booking form by email or fax to IEC2011.hotel@congrex.com. A global deposit of € 150 is required to guarantee the room reservation. Each participant will receive a confirmation/invoice and can settle the deposit by credit card or bank transfer. Hotel reservations without payment 10 days after confirmation sent by Congrex Travel cannot be held and will therefore be released. Final payment of the duration of the stay has to be made before 27 June 2011 to Congrex Travel. Please do not send any payments to the hotel. All rates mentioned below are per room per night, including breakfast and VAT, but excluding city tax, which need to be paid in the hotel directly. The city tax is € 2,00 per person per night in 1*, 2* and 3* hotels or € 3,00 per person per night in 4* and 5* hotels.
Booking policy
All requests will be handled on a "first come-first served basis". Hotel bookings will be guaranteed till 27 June 2011. On or after this deadline, requests will surely be accepted, but hotel accommodation is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed anymore. Furthermore, bookings are only possible against full payment by credit card. An administration fee of € 30 will be charged.
Change, cancellation & refund policy
Any change of reservations sent to Congrex Travel via e-mail, will be subject to a handling fee of € 30. Please do not contact the hotel directly.
If your reservation is cancelled before 27 June 2011, the deposit will be refunded, less a € 60 administration fee. If your reservation is cancelled on or after this date no refunds can be made.
Group bookings
For requests of more than 8 rooms, different conditions will apply and a group contract will be set up. Please contact IEC 2011 Hotel Department for more information.

Congrex official hotel shuttle service
A shuttle bus service will be provided during the Congress for all IEC 2011 participants that have booked accommodation through Congrex Travel.
If you are arriving on the 25th, 26th or 27th August, please pick up your shuttle pass from the Reception of the hotel where you are staying. If you are arriving on the 28th August and onwards, please visit the Accommodation and Tour Desk in the Registration area of the Congress venue, to pick up your shuttle pass.
